Job summary

Central Coast Home Health and Hospice is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our Santa Barbara territory. The RD will plan, organize, and conduct dietetic education for nursing and other personnel, functioning as part of the interdisciplinary team with expertise in nutritional care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in foods, nutrition, or dietetics, CA RD license, and CPR certification. Home Health experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in foods, nutrition, or dietetics with internship completed.
• CA RD license active.
• Member of the American Dietetic Association.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct dietetic education for nursing personnel and other staff.
• Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team with expertise in nutritional care.
• Provide dietetic education and support within hospice care.
• Maintain patient-focused nutrition care and documentation as required.
