Job summary

Compass Health Inc. in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for a full-time position to support our skilled nursing facilities. You will perform nutrition assessments, develop care plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and help ensure Title 22 and CMS compliance.

The role involves commuting between Morro Bay, Templeton, San Luis Obispo, and Arroyo Grande locations. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Title 22 and CMS regulations preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Must be willing to float between facilities.
• Must be able to pass background checks, reference checks, physical, back and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments and care plans.
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and weight changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in care conferences, QAPI, and quality improvement activities.
• Support food service operations and regulatory compliance.
• Educate dietary staff through monthly in-services.
