Job summary

The Senior Community Care of Michigan PACE, a program of Volunteers of America National Services, is seeking a Registered Dietitian in Lansing, MI. This part‑time role travels locally to participant homes and supports nutrition care within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires licensure, RD certification, and at least 1 year working with frail and elderly populations. Schedule is 8a-4:30p, 2-3 days weekly with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Dietetics is required.
• Licensed in the state as a Dietitian; Registered Dietitian Certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience with frail and elderly population.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality Nutrition Care using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics framework, including Nutrition Assessment, Diagnosis, Interventions, monitoring and evaluation.
• Perform in-person re-assessments on a yearly basis and semi-annually as needed.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and coordinate care for 24-hour delivery of services.
• Monitor weights, diagnoses, drug-nutrient interactions, hydration, and other clinical indicators; advise staff on changes.
