Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Parsons, KS team at Parson Presbyterian Manor. You will identify and assess residents' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain health, and collaborate with the care team to enhance quality of life.

The role is scheduled for 9 hours per week with flexible days, onsite, in a healthcare setting. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements; CDR exam or eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
