Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. The RD will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life for patients/residents.

Typical schedule is 24 hours per week, onsite at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, PA. Responsibilities include educating staff and patients, adhering to practice standards, and supporting continuous quality improvement in nutrition services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
