Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Meadowbrook, PA. The RD will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and help maintain nutritional status in line with goals.

Typically scheduled 24 hours per week and onsite at Holy Redeemer Hospital. You will educate the healthcare team and patients, follow professional standards and regulatory requirements, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in nutrition or related field prior to 2024.
• Master's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
