Job summary

The City of Georgetown, Texas is seeking a part-time Customer Service Assistant for Garey Park. You will help participants, register members, process payments, and ensure safety and order during activities and events. Some evenings and weekends are required.

You will assist with basic reporting, front-desk duties, and light maintenance as needed, contributing to a positive, welcoming park experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Cash handling familiarity preferred.
• CPR and First Aid knowledge or certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to participants, programs, and customers at Garey Park.
• Register participants, collect payments, and reconcile receipts at shift end.
• Process member paperwork and changes, including EFTs and payments.
• Monitor activities to ensure safety and compliance with rules.
• Distribute recreation equipment and open/close the center per procedures.
• Respond to inquiries and document incidents or reports.
