Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 6 months of sustained recovery and knowledge of recovery principles.
• Completion of Peer Support Specialist certification after 1 year (preferred).
• Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Negative pre-employment drug test; company is a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Shelter Setup and Management: set up/break down shelter and manage check-ins.
• Guest Interaction and Orientation: orient guests and document observations.
• Safety and Security: maintain safe environment and conduct shelter rounds.
• Overall Communication Coordination: coordinate with partners and staff for resource access.
• Language and travel: communicate effectively; travel to campus/location as needed.
