Avenues Recovery Center in Norfolk, VA is seeking a part-time receptionist for our inpatient detox and residential facility. This role supports a busy front desk, handling communications, mail, and scheduling during afternoon/evening shifts.

Hours are 4pm-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10am-6pm on Sundays. A HS diploma is preferred, with 1 year in the treatment field encouraged. You’ll need strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• In recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accountability at all times.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all standard clerical duties (emailing, filing, photocopying, faxing, transcribing etc.).
• Monitor phones and voicemail, and route all calls and messages appropriately.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, as well as all UPS and Amazon shipments.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of reception area, and re-stock office supplies as necessary.
• Maintain pharmacy copay log and record all payments.
• Perform administrative errands as necessary, and any other duties as assigned.
