Transportation Insight Holding Company is seeking a part-time Receptionist to greet visitors, manage mail and deliveries, and support daily office operations. The role requires a professional demeanor, strong MS Office skills, and prior office experience.
The ideal candidate will maintain a welcoming reception area, coordinate with management and sales staff, and assist with office tasks as needed. This is an in-office, part-time position with standard business hours.
The Receptionist is responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations. Their duties include being the point of contact for office needs, sorting and delivering mail to employees, and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or sales staff.
Standard office environment, usually indoors away from the elements with moderate noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Maintain a stationary position for extended periods; move about the office, operate computers and files, as needed; and frequently communicate with others. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee is required to lift boxes up to 20 pounds.
This is a part-time position; hours will fall within Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. If full time, it is a benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. This is an in-office role.
Local travel is required. Out of state travel is limited but may be required for special training, conferences, or company events.
