Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club in Harbor Springs, Michigan, is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to greet members and visitors and handle inquiries with professionalism.

The role operates partly during evenings and weekends with seasonal variations; full-time hours may be available in peak season. You will manage calls, reservations, and front-desk communications while maintaining a welcoming clubhouse environment.

• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages.
• Greet members and guests entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Record dining and special event reservations.
• Coordinate general maintenance requests/concerns.
• Ensure lamps in Clubhouse are on and all décor seems to be in place.
• Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
• Take to-go orders and ensure reception area is tidy.

Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is Hiring a Part-Time Receptionist

Do you have a good work ethic and friendly personality? If so, then we want you on our team!!

Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is a private member owned association with approximately 800 members. We are located in beautiful Harbor Springs, a Northern Michigan treasure on the shore of Lake Michigan. Some of the amenities we offer our members include: 27 holes of golf, tennis, pickleball, and bocce courts, heated swimming pools, cross country skiing and walking trails, and a fitness center. Our dining experience offers a variety of dining rooms for a la carte, private and group events, and catering.

The receptionist is the first point of contact for our members and plays an essential role in communication.

Salary Competitive – based on experience

Hiring ages 16 and up

Job Type Part-Time and Full-Time available. Full-time hours for the remainder of the summer and part-time hours in the off season. This position has shifts throughout the week evenings, and weekends in the summer and will become just weekend shifts in the fall and winter.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Tidy and maintain the reception area
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
