Job summary

Ampact’s Reading Corps program is seeking Reading Tutors to help students improve reading skills at local schools in Minnesota. You'll be trained to deliver proven activities and coached along the way, tutoring pairs of students for 20 minutes daily.

Responsibilities include leading sessions, tracking progress, and coordinating with onsite coaches. Applicants should have a high school diploma, be 18+, and able to pass a background check. Part-time roles available; AmeriCorps stipend provided.

Qualifications

• Dependable and have a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities
