Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey in West Orange, NJ is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics under BCBA supervision. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills while collecting data and tracking progress.

We provide paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for advancement via our ABA Academy of Excellence to help you prepare for and pass the RBT exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support.
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
