Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Elizabeth, NJ is hiring a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD under BCBA supervision. Work occurs in home and clinic settings, with paid training if not certified yet.

You will help children build communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors, and participate in regular supervision and data collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with children; ASD experience is strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations.
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
• Physical ability to perform duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in home or clinic settings.
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
• Use tools (e.g., CentralReach) to conduct assessments and track data.
• Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive supervision.
• Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
• Provide basic care as needed.
