Job summary

Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate RBTs to provide in-home ABA services in Fairfield County, CT. Part-Time role with a flexible schedule; you will work one-on-one with children in their homes under a BCBA's plan.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Paid training and ongoing development are provided, with supportive BCBA leadership and scheduling support. You will help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills in natural environments.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities preferred.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team.
• Able to stay active during therapy sessions (sitting on floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention techniques.
• Collect accurate session data and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and professional development.
• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
• Follow BACB RBT Ethics Code standards, company policies, and insurance documentation requirements.
