Job summary

Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate, energetic RBTs to provide in-home ABA therapy across Fairfield County, Connecticut. The role focuses on one-on-one work with children in their homes, with supervision by a BCBA and flexible, part-time scheduling.

The position emphasizes teaching communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills in natural settings, while maintaining data collection and collaboration with families and BCBAs.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or related field preferred
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities is preferred
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
• Ability to remain active during therapy sessions (sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds) and respond quickly to client behaviors
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention techniques
• Collect accurate session data and maintain timely clinical documentation
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress
• Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and professional development
• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment
• Follow all BACB RBT Ethics Code standards, company policies, and insurance documentation requirements
