Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA is seeking a part‑time Radiology Technologist to perform imaging exams with safety and efficiency. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure patient comfort, document procedures, and assist Radiologists across departments, including OR and fluoroscopy.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, BLS certification, and ARRT RT(R) licensure. Excellent communication and adherence to infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure information is accurate.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, physicians.
• Must read, write and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy.
• Operates scanners, injectors, monitors and medical equipment safely and properly.
• Screens patients for contraindications and educates patients about procedures.
• Positions patients and selects factors to meet Radiologist standards.
• Maintains properly stocked, organized, and clean room.
• Completes required documentation for Radiologist support and performs clerical duties.
