Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology duties across departments, including OR and Fluoroscopy, while upholding infection control standards and patient safety. You will document patient records, assist Radiologists, and ensure patient comfort and privacy during procedures.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to educate patients, and proficiency with radiography equipment. Day shift, full-time position available in Chatsworth, GA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ARRT RT(R) certification required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Practices infection control standards and uses PPE and disinfectants.
• Maintains stocked, organized, and clean radiology room.
• Completes documentation for Radiologist support and clerical duties.
• Performs direct patient care within technologist scope, monitoring and ensuring comfort, safety, privacy.
• Obtains patient history and explains procedures.
• Performs radiology examinations in all departments including OR and Fluoroscopy.
