Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations, educate patients, and ensure safety per departmental protocols. You will operate scanners, inject IV contrast, and monitor for adverse reactions while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires CT training, radiography credentials, and strong knowledge of radiation safety. This is a part-time position based in Georgia with day shift hours, aligned with patient care needs.

Qualifications

• High school grad or equivalent required; CT training program completed preferred.
• 1+ years experience in radiology and CT training completion preferred.
• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R) (ARRT) and RT(CT) credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients about exams and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Document findings in EMR and coordinate with radiologists.
