Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly is seeking a part-time Therapeutic Radiology Technologist to treat patients with ionizing radiation and to monitor equipment for safe operation.

The role requires ARRT registry eligibility or active registration, AMA-approved training, and BLS certification. You will document treatments, input data into Aria, and maintain accurate records while staying compliant with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Therapeutic Radiology or international equivalent.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible, must pass registry in the first 90 days of employment.BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients with ionizing radiation in adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Monitors equipment parameters and documents malfunctions.
• Maintains accurate medical records and treatment schedules.
• Inputs treatment and simulation charge information into Aria.
• Documents patient treatment chart.
• Understands emergency and fault procedures for linear accelerators and simulators.
• Communicates instructions to patients and families.
• Keeps clinic organized and clean.
