Cheerwine is seeking a Part-Time Quality-Inventory Control Clerk to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Training provided and emphasis on accuracy in inbound/outbound shipments.

The 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with pay between $18 and $20 per hour, plus variable pay and overtime opportunities, offering a stable and growth-oriented position within the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience preferred; computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and WMS.
  • May regularly lift up to 20 lbs and 40-50 lbs occasionally
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Be dependable and reliable to work Monday through Friday for the assigned shift

Responsibilities

  • Audits the daily delivery route paperwork to ensure it is accurate per company procedures.
  • Audits customer payments to ensure they match the delivery route paperwork.
  • Inspects any returned product for damages and/or the reason a product was returned and enters it into the Encompass software.
  • Works with drivers to ensure any returned product is put back in inventory per company procedures.
  • Checks load for accuracy, resolving shipping/ordering discrepancies. Verifies accuracy by checking SKUs, inspecting for damages, and updating inventory by accurately completing shipping/receiving logs, BOLs, and inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace efficiently and perform down-stocking to ensure smooth inventory flow.

Description:

Verify inventory, process orders, maintain records, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate with shipping/product to ensure accurate incoming/outgoing shipments and inventory levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • 2ND SHIFT: Monday through Friday 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. (or until the delivery trucks have come in for the day)

  • High accuracy and attention to detail are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), database software, and data entry.
  • Liaison between management, warehouse personnel, and sales/delivery personnel.
  • Organizational skills, particularly in inventory control and logistics.
  • Occasional use of Electric Pallet Jack and wrapping machines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace efficiently and perform down-stocking to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Follow SOPs and safety procedures
