Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Boone is seeking a part-time Public Areas cleaner for our hotel in Boone, NC. The role involves welcoming guests, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting a hospitable environment under supervision of the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications include being 16 years or older with flexible availability; students are welcome. The job includes morning shifts, team-sized groups, and a focus on guest satisfaction. Drug tests and background checks are required.

Job description

We are currently looking to fill a position for our Public Area's cleaning department.

• This position reports directly to our Chief Engineer.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Previous experience a plus. Candidates should display positive work habits, flexibility, and a friendly hospitality oriented personality.

Qualifications

• Consistent Availability Preferred, Part-Time (16 hours avg.)
• Must be 16 yrs or older. Students are welcome to apply, will work around your class and exam schedule.

Work Environment and Scheduling

• Shifts are morning/ first shift, only.
• Shifts include groups of 1-3 team members.
