Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Boone is seeking a motivated Housekeeper to maintain clean public areas, guest rooms, and bathrooms. The role offers $16/hour + tips with full availability and a 4–5 day work week. Schedules are set 1–2 weeks in advance to accommodate second jobs or school schedules.

You will become Hilton trained and may cross-train in other departments as you move up in hospitality. Automatic Hilton Honors silver status and travel program discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
• No experience required for those with a team player attitude.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Able to spend majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling and kneeling while cleaning.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Stock supply carts; room deep-cleaning projects; assist with other duties as needed.
• Rooms and baths are inspected after cleaning by the supervisor.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Boone is looking for Housekeepers!

• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• No experience is required for those with a team player attitude.
• Pay starts at $16/hr + tips for full availability
• 6 to 8 hour shift, 4-5 days a week.
• Schedules written 1-2 weeks in advance to assist with those who have a second job, family obligations or school schedule.
• Chance to be fully Hilton trained and opportunities to cross train in other departments for those interested in moving up with a career in hospitality.

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning public areas, guest rooms and bathrooms. Other duties include stocking supply carts, room deep-cleaning projects, and assisting with other duties as needed. Our Room Attendants are measured by the amount of time it takes to complete their assigned rooms, the quality of their work, and other company goals. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player who wants to be the bright spot in our guests day.

Other Key Duties Include

• Replenish guest rooms and baths with amenities, supplies, and linen and terry in accordance with Company standards
• Inspect rooms for repairs or fixtures that are not working properly; replace batteries, light bulbs, etc.
• Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance department in accordance with hotel procedures
• After cleaning each room and bath, have inspection from executive housekeeper.
