Amedisys in South Carolina seeks a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our home health team. You will provide PT services under the direction of a licensed PT, following a physician-approved plan of care, and help patients heal in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited CAPTE PTA program.
• One year PTA experience in home health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under supervision of a PT and approved plan of care.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes in condition.
• Document supervisory activities and patient progress in records.
• Participate in care conferences and quality-improvement activities.
• Coordinate follow-up care with agency and community resources.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
