Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide a clinical team in an inpatient setting, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and staff development while delivering high-quality patient care and improving outcomes.

As a leader, you will collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations, ensure adherence to policies, and mentor therapists.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
