Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide the PT team, oversee scheduling and orientation, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work to improve patient outcomes through compassionate leadership and evidence-based treatments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hospital departments, ongoing staff development, and commitment to exceptional post-acute rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Physical Therapy as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and cross-department communication.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and foster a compassionate, patient-centered care environment.
