Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Team Leader for Physical Therapy to drive clinical leadership and oversee daily therapy operations. You will supervise scheduling, orientation, training, and communication within the therapy team while delivering compassionate patient care and advancing outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with hospital departments, and commitment to high-quality rehab services.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations (scheduling, orientation, training, communication).
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to a positive care culture.
