Job summary

Newport Pacific Capital is seeking a Part-Time Property Manager for 64 Mobile Home Park in Channelview, TX 77530. You will keep the community safe, clean, and code-compliant; collect rent; process applications; and coordinate move-ins and move-outs while treating residents with respect.

Under the Regional Manager, duties include budgeting, inspections, vendor bidding, handling resident concerns, and maintaining accurate records. Spanish bilingual is preferred; Rent Manager experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Property management experience.
• Knowledge of fair housing and landlord/tenancy laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Rent Manager software preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
• Collect and deposit rent payments and perform data entry.
• Process tenancy applications and coordinate move-ins/move-outs.
• Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents.
• Perform routine inspections and address deficiencies.
• Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
• Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee projects.
• Respond to urgent/emergencies outside normal business hours.
• Experience reading meters.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by a supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Property Manager who will be passionate about working with the residents of 64 Mobile Home Park in Channelview. Texas.

Under the direction of a Regional Manager, day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
• Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
• Collect and deposit rent payments and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
• Control expenditures by staying within the constraints of the approved budget.
• Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
• Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
• Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for deficiencies.
• Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
• Recognize and address maintenance needs.
• Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.
• Effectively respond to urgent/emergencies that sometimes occur outside of normal business hours.
• Experience in reading meters.
• Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned by a supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community

QualificationsDesired skills & experience:

Compensation:

• $15 per hour
• Free RV rental space if needed
