Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Traverse City, Michigan is seeking a part-time Program Director to lead and grow our LifeWise program in your community. The role involves developing partnerships with schools, churches, parents and community members, and representing LifeWise locally.

Part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours per week) with occasional events. The role focuses on fundraising, donor stewardship, team leadership and operations, including scheduling, enrollment, budgeting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with school leaders, parents, churches and community members.
• Serve as a trusted representative of LifeWise Academy in the local community.
• Communicate the vision and impact of the program.
• Coordinate local fundraising efforts and community giving campaigns.
• Lead donor communication, appreciation and stewardship.
• Conduct church presentations, fundraising events, sponsorship opportunities and community outreach initiatives.
• Encourage ongoing financial partnerships to sustain and grow the program.
• Utilize LifeWise Academy fundraising strategies.
• Recruit, train, encourage and support team members.
• Foster a safe, Christ-centered culture for students and families.
• Coordinate teams to ensure classes run smoothly and safely.
• Oversee communication, scheduling, enrollment and basic administrative tasks.
• Assist with budgeting, fundraising coordination and stewardship of resources.
• Maintain compliance with school policies and LifeWise Academy procedures.
• Help students and families experience biblical instruction and gospel awareness.
• Engage with local churches and community partners to grow impact.
• Support sustainable operations and partnerships.
