Job summary

The University of Chicago Collegiate Scholars Program is seeking a part-time Program Administrator to help plan and execute admissions, outreach, and college readiness activities for CPS students. You will coordinate interviews, manage inquiries, and assist with college exploration workshops and fairs.

This temporary role emphasizes strong organizational skills, reliable communication, and the ability to work with diverse students and families. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Some college required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of background in youth development, admissions, or college access.
• Experience coordinating administrative projects or supporting program operations is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual CSP admissions process by recruiting eligible students and coordinating interviews.
• Review applications and assist the admissions committee in selections.
• Monitor CSP emails and respond to inquiries from scholars, counselors, parents, and partners.
• Assist in planning year-round college exploration and financial aid workshops.
• Chaperone CSP events, tours, and college readiness activities.
• Support evaluation efforts with surveys and data collection.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
