Job summary

Manchester Essex Regional School District is seeking a part-time Professional Stipend member for the Professional Development Committee (PDC) at the High School in Manchester, MA. Members support the Director of Curriculum and Instructional Technology in planning, implementing, and evaluating educator PD across schools.

Role emphasizes liaison activities, staff engagement, and promoting PD opportunities, with CORI clearance required and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Teacher Certification in subject area and assignment level.
• Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; proficiency with current technologies.
• Approved CORI report as a condition of hire.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred; citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Curriculum and Instructional Technology with educator professional development planning.
• Promote professional development opportunities and coordinate PD experiences.
• Engage in evaluation of PD and lead discussions at staff or department meetings.
