Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring part-time prepweighers for the production line. 1st and 2nd shifts available; positions require standing on the production floor for a 5-hour shift and ability to perform repetitive motions.

Proficiency in reading and speaking English is required to follow signs, policies, and safety rules. Responsibilities include sorting nonconforming product, checking for foreign material, and maintaining cleanliness of the workstation.

Qualifications

• Good command of English; reading basic words and sentences to understand signs and policies.
• Must be able to speak and understand English to obtain and relay information.
• Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative teamwork on the production line.

Responsibilities

• Sorts sub-standard product and ensures appearance and quality meet Nestlé standards.
• Watches for foreign matter and notifies supervisor when found.
• Hand-weighs, hand-scoops, hand-counts, and places products at line speed.
• Cleans workstation, bowls, and area at end of shift and during downtime.
