Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring for production line prepweighers on 1st and 2nd shifts with 10-hour rotating schedules. You will ensure product quality, monitor for foreign matter, and perform hand-weighing and hand-placement at line speed while maintaining clean workstations.

English proficiency is required to follow policies and instructions. The role requires standing for 9.5 hours and is on a fast-paced food production line.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency of English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Good command of/some proficiency in English required.
• Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules.
• Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures.
• Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Sorts sub-standard product and ensures appearance and quality meet Nestlé standards.
• Notifies Team Leader/QA when foreign material is found.
• Does not use excess materials/product.
• Hand-weighs, hand-scoops, hand-counts, and/or hand-places products at or above line speed.
• Cleans workstation, bowls, and area at end of shift, prior to break/lunch, and during downtime.
