Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring part-time prepweighers for 1st and 2nd shifts (2 x 10 hours) to support our production lines in Utah. You’ll hand-weigh, scoop, and count products, monitor quality, and keep workstations clean while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and have basic English reading and communication skills. High school diploma preferred; shift flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Able to stand on production floor for 5 hours per shift.
• Able to perform repetitive motions on a food production line.
• 90 days of food manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sorts sub-standard product and ensures appearance and quality meet Nestlé standards.
• Watches for foreign matter and notifies Team Leader or QA when found.
• Does not use excess materials/product.
• Hand-weighs, hand-scoops, hand-counts, or hand-places products at/above line speed accurately.
• Cleans workstation, bowls, and area at shift end and during downtime.
• Read and understand basic/standard English signs, policies, and safety rules; communicate with team.

Nestle is hiring for production line part-time prepweighers. 1st and 2nd shifts are available.

Part-time prepweighers will work 2 10 hour shifts.

• Sorts sub-standard product out and ensures that the appearance and overall quality of product meets Nestlé quality standards.
• Watches for foreign matter in product and notifies Team Leader and/or Q.A. when foreign material is found.

• Hand-weighs, hand-scoops, hand-counts, and/or hand-places products at or above line speed consistently and accurately.
• Cleans workstation, bowls, and area at end of shift, prior to break/lunch, and during downtime.
• Good command of/some proficiency in English required: a. Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules. b. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences in English to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures. c. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
