Job summary

York Country Day School is seeking a part-time Engineering and Robotics Teacher to join our Engineering and Robotics team. The ideal candidate is collaborative, creative, and comfortable with 21st-century technology, delivering a multidisciplinary program for Preschool through Grade 5.

The role includes designing curriculum, providing professional development for faculty, and using assessment data to inform instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of Robotics and Engineering experience.
• Independent school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach using a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach in Robotics and Engineering.
• Design curriculum and provide professional development for Pre-K–5.
• Plan activities to develop physical, emotional, intellectual, and social skills.
• Observe development and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with Directors and Head of Lower School; attend weekly staff meetings.
