Job summary

Athletes Global Corporation is seeking a dynamic Robotics (STEM) Instructor to lead an after-school robotics program for elementary students at YMCA locations in New Jersey. This part-time role involves delivering hands-on lessons, managing a classroom, and coordinating sessions across multiple sites (Site 1–Site 5).

  • 2–5 years of experience working with elementary-aged children.
  • Experience teaching STEM or robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver hands-on robotics lessons and STEM activities for students in grades K–5
  • Use age-appropriate robotics kits and materials to teach fundamental STEM concepts
  • Maintain a well-structured, engaging, and positive classroom environment
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and ensure student safety and participation
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of various learning styles and skill levels
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and parents

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and dependableRobotics (STEM) Instructorto lead an exciting after‑school robotics program for elementary‑aged students. This is a part‑time opportunity ideal for someone who is passionate about STEM education, highly organized, and confident in managing a classroom of young learners.

NOTE: All classes will be held at a YMCA location. You will have the opportunity to interview for as many locations that will fit in your schedule. All locations hold class on a different day, so times won’t conflict.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in education, child development, STEM, or related fields
  • Familiarity with common educational robotics platforms (e.g., LEGO Education, Dash & Dot, VEX, etc.)
