Surgical Specialists at Princeton is seeking a part-time Pre-Admission Registered Nurse. You will assess medical history, review orders, and provide preadmission teaching to ensure safe, prepared patients for surgery.

Responsibilities include coordinating preop activities, implementing physician orders, and maintaining patient safety, comfort, and privacy while delivering quality nursing care. Requirements: RN graduate, active state license, BLS/ACLS (PALS as needed), and 2 years' Pre-Admission

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if center requires.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients prior to surgery to assess medical and medication history.
• Review lab and imaging orders to coordinate preadmission steps.
• Provide preadmission teaching and ensure orders are implemented.
• Maintain continuity and quality of nursing care with patient safety in mind.
