Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for the pre-operative patient.
• Records and reports symptoms and changes in patient condition.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Cares for pre-operative patients and ensures proper discharge per policy.
• Reviews the pre-operative chart for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensures surgical consent and pre-operative workups are complete.
