Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is hiring a Part-Time Positive Support Specialist in Baxter, MN to support individuals with intensive medical, behavioral and mental health needs in our Intensive Community Residential Services (ICRS) programs. A person-centered, trauma-informed approach guides daily activities and goal achievement.

You will assist with life skills, advocate for rights and medical care, and document shifts while helping manage crises safely.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background check and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to be more independent in daily living skills.
• Advocate for rights, medical care, and community participation.
• Complete necessary documentation and shift-records.
