City of Florissant, MO is seeking a Part-Time Pool Manager to oversee daily operations of the community swimming pool. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, provide excellent service to members and guests, and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Previous aquatics experience and pool management/lifeguarding preferred.
• Mobility and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and administer activities at the indoor aquatic facility to provide quality swimming programs and services.
• Oversee and train part-time lifeguard staff.
• Maintain records of attendance, accident reports, pool readings, inventory, and schedules.
• Maintain lifeguard skills and stay test-ready.
• Respond to emergency situations and enforce all rules and procedures.
• Assist with daily and weekly maintenance, including backwashing, cleaning, and chemical handling.
• Monitor pool equipment and facilities to ensure safety.
• Assist with planning pool schedules, programming, and special events.
• Instruct and assist all group swimming lessons for children and adults.
