Job summary

The City of O'Fallon is seeking energetic Lifeguards for morning and daytime shifts at the Renaud Center pool. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a supportive team, and starting pay of $15.70 per hour with raises after every 750 hours worked.

You will enforce pool rules, provide first aid, maintain cleanliness, test chemicals, and deliver friendly information to patrons. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to attain Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard License (in-house training available).
• Must have or be able to attain First Aid and CPR certification.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds, swim 200 yards, submerge feet first in 15 feet of water.
• Be at least 15 years of age

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and policies.
• Attend in-service training to remain certified.
• Provide first aid when needed.
• Clean the pool deck and vacuum the pool.
• Ensure restrooms and guard office are clean.
• Test pool chemicals.
• Provide information and top-notch customer service to patrons.
