Qualifications

• Current ARC Lifeguarding and First Aid or ARC Waterpark Lifeguarding and First Aid certification.
• Ability to swim continuously and meet certification standards.
• Ability to quickly enter water and perform emergency rescues using approved techniques.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid procedures during emergencies.
• Maintain constant supervision of the aquatic environment and respond immediately.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors with water, chemicals, and variable weather.
• Flexibility in schedule to open/close pools and cover multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies.
• Provide assistance with lifeguard duties and rescue techniques.
• Perform required records and reports including timesheets and incident reports.
• Assist in maintaining a neat, organized pool deck and aquatics office.
• Learn and adhere to all J policies and procedures.
• Foster a safe, welcoming environment for members.
