Job summary

Connectivity Behavioral Health & Wellness in New Braunfels, Texas, is seeking a part-time contracted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our new PHP/IOP day program.

The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care, collaborating with our Medical Director, Clinical Director, therapists, and multidisciplinary treatment team. The provider will also participate in treatment planning and outcomes measurement as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Current PMHNP-BC certification is required.
• Active, unrestricted Texas RN and APRN licenses.
• Appropriate Texas prescriptive authority and eligibility for physician delegation.
• DEA registration when required.
• Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
• PHP, IOP, outpatient psychiatry, residential, or addiction-treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Ongoing follow-up care and medical assessments.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Clinical Director, therapists, and treatment team.
• Participate in treatment planning and outcomes measurement.
• Help establish psychiatric services as the program grows.
