Job summary

Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Detroit Lakes, MN is seeking compassionate Resident Assistants to join our team. You’ll provide daily care, support residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, and help manage dementia-related needs in a home-like setting.

We offer flexible shifts, no mandated overtime beyond your schedule, up to $21/hour based on experience, and benefits for full-time staff including PTO, health/dental, a 401(k), and CNA certification reimbursement while employed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DHS background study.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older; CNA license allows under 18 per regulations.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred or required per regulation.

Responsibilities

• Toileting and Bathing.
• Dressing and Grooming.
• Feeding Assistance.
• Management of Dementia related behaviors.
• Transfer and Mobility Assistance (including use of mechanical lifts).
• Medication administration and Treatments.
• End of Life Cares.
• Meal Preparation.
• Activities.
• Daily Housekeeping and Laundry.

• Being able to complete these tasks while providing a supportive and dignified environment in which our aging population can thrive.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration. Exception: Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.
