Job summary

Diamond Willow Assisted Living is seeking Resident Assistants to support residents in our Detroit Lakes, MN community. You will provide compassionate, dignified care across daily activities and medical needs, with flexible shifts and a focus on quality of life.

We welcome both experienced caregivers and newcomers who share our commitment to person-centered care. Compensation includes wage up to $21/hour with shift differentials and benefits; CNA-related reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• Must pass DHS background study.
• Able to provide a dignified environment so aging residents thrive.
• All applicants must be 18+; CNA license may be required per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Toileting and bathing residents.
• Dressing and grooming assistance.
• Feeding assistance.
• Manage dementia-related behaviors.
• Transfer and mobility assistance (including mechanical lifts).
• Medication administration and treatments.
• End of life care.
• Meal preparation; Activities; Daily housekeeping and laundry.

What You Bring

• MUST PASS a DHS background Study
• Being able to complete these tasks while providing a supportive and dignified environment in which our aging population can thrive.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration. Exception: Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.
