SIMONA-PMC in Findlay, Ohio is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Operator for the Afternoon Shift (3:00pm–7:00pm). The role is to visually inspect sheets, count and stack them, assist with packaging, and help with line startup and shutdown in a plastic extrusion facility.

This position offers a starting wage of $20/hour, rising to $20.50 after 90 days and $21 after six months, plus a $1.00 shift premium for hours 3pm–7am, a monthly incentive bonus, paid time off after 90 days, paid holidays, and

Qualifications

• Inspect sheets for quality defects before stacking
• Count and stack sheets accurately on skids
• Assist with packaging: shrink wrap, frame edges, banding
• Support line startup/shutdown during product switches
• Operate grinders and maintain cleanliness as needed
• Use RF handheld and labeling systems as required
• Operate forklift to store finished skids

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect each sheet of plastic for defects before stacking
• Stack sheets on skids with accurate counts
• Complete packaging steps and secure sheets for shipping
• Assist with line start-up/shutdown when switching products
• Clean and operate grinders as needed
• Use RF labeling systems as required
• Store completed skids using a forklift
