Job summary

SIMONA-PMC in Findlay, Ohio is NOW HIRING Part-Time Assistant Operators for a plastic extrusion line. The role focuses on visually inspecting sheets, counting and stacking, and assisting with start-ups and line shutdowns.

This position offers a starting wage of $20/hour, a $1 shift premium for qualifying night hours, a monthly incentive bonus up to 10%, paid holidays, and PTO after 90 days. Schedules are 4-hour shifts, with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight options.

Responsibilities

• Visually examine each sheet for quality imperfections
• Remove sheet from line and stack on a skid, counting each sheet
• Complete the packaging process (shrink wrap, cut lumber, banding) for full skids
• Assist with start-up and shutdown when switching products, including roll changes and cleaning
• Operate and clean grinders as needed
• Operate RF handheld and labeling systems
• Use a forklift to store full skids
