Simona-PMC in Findlay, OH is hiring an Assistant Operator to support plastic sheet production. You will inspect sheets for defects, count and stack them, and manage packaging with shrink wrap, banding, and lumber framing.

The role includes line startup/shutdown assistance and occasional grinder operation. We offer competitive hourly wages starting at $20, with increases at 90 days and six months, plus comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Quality checks on each sheet before packaging.
• Operate and assist line start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Handle RF labeling systems and packaging equipment.
• Forklift operation to move full skids to storage areas.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect each plastic sheet for imperfections before stacking.
• Count sheets manually as they are stacked to maintain accuracy.
• Pack via shrink wrapping, cut lumber, and use banding for security.
• Assist line transitions when changing product types and perform cleanups.
• Operate grinders and handle routine cleaning as needed.
