Job summary

SIMONA PMC, located in Findlay, OH, seeks an Assistant Operator for 2nd shift to join its plastic extrusion team. The role involves inspecting sheets for quality, counting and packaging, and assisting with line changes and startup/shutdown tasks.

Training and growth opportunities are available within our 8-hour shift structure. Starting pay is $20 per hour with increases to $20.50 after 90 days and $21 after 6 months, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• No formal education or certification specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Visually examine each plastic sheet for quality imperfections before stacking.
• Count sheets manually while stacking on a skid and assist with packaging.
• Assist with line start-up/shutdown when switching products, including dies, cleaning and reassembly.
• Operate and clean grinders as needed.
• Use RF handheld labeling systems and a forklift to move full skids.
