Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist in Mount Juliet, TN. You will support plasma center operations by screening donors, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring donor safety and record accuracy.

The role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts typically 4–6 hours. We offer daily pay to hourly team members and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify opportunities for center process improvements.
• Work various shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
